Aboriginal Housing Management Association (AHMA) CEO (contract)

Major areas of responsibility included:

  • Responsibility for the development of a self management model for the delivery of Urban and Rural Aboriginal Housing in British Columbia agreement signed with the Province of British Columbia, July 1,2004;
  • Working closely with 18 Aboriginal Urban and Rural Housing societies, CMHC, BC Housing, and the Ministry of Community, Aboriginal, and Women’s Services;
  • All aspects of political lobbying, negotiations, consensus building, and mediation;
  • All aspects of organizational development including governance models, policy development, job descriptions, budgets, and legal agreement;
  • All aspects of public relations and networking
